The Allahabad High Court admitted a petition against Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya for allegedly using a fake degree to obtain a petrol pump license and contest elections. The Supreme Court intervened after the High Court initially rejected the petition due to delays, raising concerns about educational qualifications for public office.
Today, On 25th April, The Allahabad High Court has admitted a review petition filed against Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister in the alleged ‘fake degree’ case. As per reports, the matter is scheduled for hearing on May 6, drawing attention to the Deputy CM’s educational qualifications.
