The Calcutta High Court lifted the ban on appointing 29 civil judges in West Bengal, allowing the recruitment process to proceed after multiple petitions regarding the exam’s conduct were dismissed by Justice Arindam Mukherjee. The court ruled that having a regular and provisional list for appointments was permissible, facilitating official appointments.
