The Supreme Court has asked the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to file an affidavit explaining its stand on publishing NEET-PG answer keys. The move comes after petitions seeking greater transparency in the medical entrance exam evaluation process.
Today, On 14th July, The Supreme Court has scheduled an August 3 hearing on pleas highlighting transparency concerns in the NEET-PG exam, particularly about answer key disclosure and evaluation. Justices K. Vinod Chandran and N.V. Anjaria took up the matter briefly.
Despite paying the full Rs. 27 lakhs admission fee on time, a NEET-PG aspirant was denied entry by the college. The Supreme Court stepped in, emphasizing fairness over technicality and allowed the student to join the course.

It also accuses authorities of violating SC timelines, citing cases like Anjana Chari. Justices BR Gavai and K Vinod Chandran have sought responses, with Senior Advocate K Parameshwar and Advocate Tanvi Dubey representing the petitioners.
Today(on 11th June),The Supreme Court dismissed petitions from NEET-PG examinees seeking release of answer keys and revaluation options for 2021 and 2022 exams, citing them as irrelevant due to time passage. Justices suggested future grievances be raised on admissible grounds for the 2024 exams.
