Today, On 12th January, Chief Justice of India Surya Kant paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary, calling him “India’s greatest international ambassador of culture and philosophy.” He said Vivekananda’s visionary teachings are full of moral values and inspire the nation.
CJI Surya Kant said that ‘imaandari’ or integrity is not just an ornament but the discipline that sustains justice and reputation. He urged law students to make integrity the basic structure of their character.
The High Court emphasized the need to address the societal implications of live-in relationships, stating, “It is high time we consider and establish a framework to uphold the moral values of society.” The court highlighted growing concerns over the impact of such relationships on traditional norms. It called for a collective effort to find solutions that balance individual freedoms with cultural ethics.
