Rajasthan High Court Seeks State’s Plan To Regulate Around 3,000 Madarsas; Directs AAG To File Affidavit

A Division Bench of the Rajasthan High Court at Jodhpur has directed the Additional Advocate General to file a detailed affidavit suggesting effective steps for the management, control and operation of around 3,000 madarsas in the State, taking into account the petitioner’s suggestions, in a writ petition questioning the regulatory framework under the Rajasthan Madarsa Board Act, 2020. The matter will be heard on October 27, 2026.
