The Bombay High Court issued a temporary injunction restraining a Shiv Sena leader from making defamatory, slanderous, libelous or communal remarks against a slum developer, stressing that such statements cannot be permitted under law during the dispute.

The Delhi High Court will hear BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar’s case against Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who is accused of making “derogatory and malicious statements” in interviews. The hearing, initially scheduled recently, was postponed to May 20, 2025, at the request of both parties’ lawyers for a short delay.
