A 22-year-old murder suspect, Kiran Santosh Bharam, threw a slipper at a judge during a hearing in Thane, missing the judge and prompting an FIR. Following this incident, 11 police personnel were suspended for negligence concerning security breaches, including a video of a guard with a gun on court premises.
