The Telangana High Court has extended interim protection to K Chandrasekhar Rao and T Harish Rao in connection with the Kaleshwaram project case. The Court restrained the Telangana government from taking any adverse action based on the judicial commission’s report till February 25.

Today, On 22nd July, A Delhi court has acknowledged a charge sheet in an excise case involving K Kavitha, a political figure accused of irregularities in Delhi’s excise policy. Kavitha faces charges of conspiracy with a liquor cartel and AAP leaders, as well as money laundering. The CBI and ED are intensifying investigations into the alleged scam.
The Supreme Court will be heard a plea from K Chandrasekhar Rao, leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), challenging a Telangana High Court order regarding a commission to investigate alleged power sector irregularities during his tenure. Rao disputes the commission’s establishment, alleging bias and political motives. The high court’s order emphasized the need for evidence to substantiate claims of bias.
