The Bombay High Court rejected Rajan Vichare’s plea against Shiv Sena (Shinde) MP Naresh Mhaske, ruling that disclosure of minor conviction was not mandatory. Justice RI Chagla held only convictions with one-year jail or more need to be declared.
The Bombay High Court issued a temporary injunction restraining a Shiv Sena leader from making defamatory, slanderous, libelous or communal remarks against a slum developer, stressing that such statements cannot be permitted under law during the dispute.

Singh sought legal protection for his name, voice, and likeness after discovering AI platforms mimicking his traits.
The Bombay High Court today imposed a Rs 4.5 crore penalty on Patanjali Ayurved for violating an ad-interim order that prohibited the sale of its camphor products. The decision came in a trademark infringement case where Patanjali was accused of passing off and trademark infringement. Patanjali admitted to the violation and was directed to pay an additional Rs 4 crore.

The unauthorized use of Johar’s name in the title and promotional materials violates his personality rights. The filmmakers are temporarily prohibited from releasing the film until the unauthorized use of Johar’s name is removed.
