Justice Alok Aradhe is appointed as Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court. Both appointments took effect as of January 14.
The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya for appointment as Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, replacing Justice Vibhu Bakhru. Currently the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, Upadhyaya’s appointment follows his legal career, including roles in the Allahabad High Court and state legal counsels.
