The Delhi High Court Today (March 12) directed Google, Meta, and X to take down Shyam Meera Singh’s video on Isha Foundation and Sadhguru, banning its further publication and public sharing. The case, filed by Isha Foundation, is set for its next hearing on July 9.

NEW DELHI: On February 14, 2025, the Supreme Court of India expressed its disapproval towards the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) for taking two years to approach the court regarding a Madras High Court decision. This decision had quashed a showcause notice against the Isha Foundation for constructing multiple buildings between 2006 and 2014.
Isha Foundation has filed a defamation suit against Nakkheeran for publishing critical allegations against it. Seeking Rs 3 crore in damages, the case, scheduled to begin arguments in April 2025, involves claims of misconduct. The Supreme Court previously ruled that two women at the ashram are there voluntarily, prompting ongoing investigations.
The Coimbatore Police submitted a comprehensive 23-page report to the Supreme Court detailing 15 years of cases linked to the Isha Foundation, citing missing persons, suicides, and sexual offenses. The report highlights ongoing investigations, concerns about operational practices, and mentions that inquiries into food safety were inconclusive. The Supreme Court will address the case on October 18.

On Thursday( 18th April),The Madras High Court warned of dismissing the missing person case against Isha Foundation if the petitioner, C. Thirumalai, fails to attend. Thirumalai sought intervention from the High Court after his brother’s disappearance from the foundation. Tamil Nadu Police requested more time to submit a comprehensive status report.
