Today, On 24th October, The Madras High Court has quashed an FIR against devotees who installed an LED screen to broadcast the Ayodhya Ram Mandir ceremony. Justice N. Satish Kumar said, “Watching a religious function is NOT an UNLAWFUL assembly.”
Arun Dey has been arrested by the CBI after four years of evasion, linked to the murder of BJP worker Abhijit Sarkar during the 2021 Bengal post-poll violence. Accused of brutal attacks, Dey was found at his daughter’s home and is now in judicial custody, while efforts continue to apprehend remaining suspects.
