The Delhi High Court has permitted a private in-camera hearing in actor Celina Jaitly’s petition seeking contact with her brother, a former Indian Army officer allegedly detained in the UAE. The matter will be heard in chambers considering the sensitive nature of the case.
The NIA has requested the Delhi High Court to conduct a private hearing in its plea seeking the death penalty for separatist leader Yasin Malik. Malik, appearing via video from Tihar Jail, said he has been under “psychological torture” for three years awaiting the verdict.
