Gurugram Woman Biker Case: Court Sends Kalyan Bainsla And Co-Accused To 14 Days’ Judicial Custody After Police Custody Ends

A Gurugram court on September 18 remanded Kalyan Bainsla, accused of hitting a woman biker with his vehicle, and a co-accused to 14 days’ judicial custody after their police custody ended. The case, registered by the Sector 55/56 police station, invokes provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita including attempt to murder, rash driving, stalking and insulting a woman’s modesty. The allegations are untested.
