The Supreme Court said a plea challenging NTA’s decision to cancel and re-conduct NEET-UG 2026 for nearly 22 lakh candidates will be heard after court recess along with other NEET matters before Justice P.S. Narasimha Bench.
Alakh Pandey, CEO of Physics Wallah, has challenged the NEET-UG 2024 conduct in the Supreme Court, disputing the NTA’s awarding of grace marks to 1,500 candidates. Allegations of question paper leaks and irregularities have raised concerns about fairness. The Supreme Court has acknowledged these issues but has not halted the counseling process. Scheduled hearings continue after the summer break.
