The Calcutta High Court directed TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee to appear on July 15 for recording his voice sample in an election campaign remarks case. The Court ordered full cooperation with the investigation while directing police to ensure his safety and prevent any harassment.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi approached the Madhya Pradesh High Court expressing regret over alleged defamatory remarks against Kartikeya Singh Chouhan. The application stated that the comments made during an election campaign were not intended to refer to Kartikeya, in a defamation case filed before Bhopal court.
