The Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Chandigarh held that merely claiming funds belong to a Hindu Undivided Family is insufficient without documentary proof of their source, holding, and transfer, in a case involving Rs 50 lakh life insurance purchased from alleged agricultural income.
Mumbai: The Bandra Court in Mumbai has sent Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, also known as Bijoy Das, to judicial custody for 14 days. His arrest is linked to the stabbing attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The incident took place on January 16, in the early hours, when Khan was attacked at his home on the 12th floor in Bandra and was stabbed six times.
