A Mumbai court fined cricketer Prithvi Shaw Rs 100 for not filing his reply to Sapna Gill’s plea in the molestation case. The hearing has now been adjourned to December 16.
The Bombay High Court on 24th May, granted interim bail to Sohail Salim Ansari, convicted for the 2014 murder of Shiv Sena leader Ramesh Jadhav. This decision allows him to appear for a law entrance exam. Despite opposition, the court considered his nine years served and reinforced the principle of access to education for convicts.
