Trimurti Films has moved the Bombay High Court alleging illegal remix and use of the iconic song “Saat Samundar Paar” in the upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera. The production house has sought Rs 10 crore damages and an injunction ahead of the film’s December 25 release.
The Delhi High Court has refused to halt the ongoing criminal investigation against Dharma Productions in the Shamshera copyright case. Notices have been issued to the Delhi government and complainant Bikramjeet Singh Bhullar, with the next hearing set for October 14.

Today, On 13th June, The Bombay High Court ordered a stay on the release of the film ‘Shaadi Ke Director Karan Aur Johar’ following Karan Johar’s plea. The unauthorized use of Johar’s name in the title and promotional materials violates his personality rights. The filmmakers are temporarily prohibited from releasing the film until the unauthorized use of Johar’s name is removed.
