The Bombay High Court ruled that comments made by Vinod Kachave about a female colleague’s hair did not constitute sexual harassment. Despite a prior investigation by the Internal Complaints Committee finding him guilty, the Court emphasized the lack of intent and proper evidence. Consequently, it set aside Kachave’s demotion and the ICC’s findings.
