The Supreme Court heard the BCCI vs Cricket Association of Bihar case concerning cricket governance and Lodha Committee reforms. The CJI allowed BCCI to file a separate reply and directed all replies to be filed within one week.
The Supreme Court strongly criticised the Bihar Cricket Association, calling its disputes “dirty politics” and a “waste of public revenue,” while appointing former Supreme Court judge L. Nageswara Rao as the new Ombudsman to ensure smooth functioning.
