The anti-corruption body found no credible evidence to warrant an investigation, criticizing the complainants for filing frivolous claims aimed at sensationalism.
A Bengaluru Special Court dismissed a complaint against CM Siddaramaiah and Minister K J George, which alleged a Rs 68 crore loss to BBMP due to their actions from 2015 to 2017. The court found the allegations baseless, lacking evidence, and described them as vague, suggesting the complaint was politically motivated.
On Friday( 19th July), Lokpal rejected a complaint against PM Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi, citing lack of substantial evidence. The complaint alleged receipt of black money from industrialists Adani and Ambani based on a campaign speech by Modi. The decision emphasized the speech’s speculative nature and lack of concrete evidence, leading to the dismissal of the complaint.
