Renowned music director Ilayaraaja told the Madras High Court that two of his compositions were used in a recent Tamil film without his consent. His lawyer informed the bench during a petition against three music companies, including Sony Music India.
The Delhi High Court has temporarily stayed an injunction against AR Rahman related to the copyright dispute over the song ‘Veera Raja Veera’ from PS2. The case involves allegations by Faiyaz Wasifuddin Dagar that Rahman’s song copies his family’s traditional piece. The next hearing is scheduled for May 23.
