The Punjab State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission held Domino’s Pizza India and Jubilant FoodWorks Limited liable for serving an “unhygienic food item” after a customer allegedly found a dead bee in pizza, while reducing compensation from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 10,000.
The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission stayed execution of bailable warrants issued against Salman Khan in a misleading advertisement complaint. The Commission also sought complete records, including contempt proceedings under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Salman Khan approached the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission alleging unfair treatment by the Jaipur consumer forum in a misleading advertisement case. The Jaipur commission issued bailable warrants over non-compliance with directions to remove the “Rajshree Elaichi” advertisement.
The South Delhi District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission directed Apple India to pay Rs 1 lakh compensation after a consumer failed to trace his stolen Apple iPhone using the Find My feature despite it showing the device remained “findable”.
