Delhi High Court has again asked the MEA to help actor Celina Jaitly establish contact with her brother detained in a UAE prison. The Court said the Consulate must ensure he is informed that he can speak to his sister.
The Delhi High Court has directed the MEA to ensure legal and diplomatic support for actress Celina Jaitly’s brother, Major (Retd.) Vikrant Jaitly, allegedly detained in the UAE. The court also ordered appointment of a nodal officer to update his family on his condition and case.
Today, On 6th May, The Central Government told the Delhi High Court that the Indian embassy in Indonesia is giving full help, including legal aid, to three Indian citizens who are facing the death penalty for drug-related charges.
