New Delhi, January 21, 2025 – Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya will be sworn in as the new Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court today. The President of India has transferred Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya from Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court to Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, following a Supreme Court Collegium recommendation. Justice Alok Aradhe is appointed as Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court. Both appointments took effect as of January 14.
