The Supreme Court today ruled West Bengal’s suit against the Centre over CBI misuse maintainable, dismissing the Centre’s challenge. It ruled that the state had not concealed any material facts and had established the cause of action. The Court scheduled further hearings for August 13. This decision will not impact the suit’s progression.
