The CBI has approached the Delhi High Court challenging the trial court’s order discharging Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and 21 others in the Delhi excise policy case. The appeal comes after the special court ruled that no prima facie case of conspiracy or criminal intent was made out.
The Supreme Court condemned allegations made against Delhi High Court judges after suspension of Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s life sentence in the Unnao rape case, warning against politicising judicial decisions. NEW DELHI: Today, 28th Feb, The Supreme Court of India declined to hear the plea filed by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) against the temporary release of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.On Friday, a bench comprising Justices B R Gavai and Prashant Kumar Mishra refused to entertain SGPC’s petition challenging an August 2024 order of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
