The CJI met the Indian High Commissioner in the UK and sought security cover for the retired judge and his family.
A District Judge in Maharashtra fell victim to a cyber fraud scheme, losing Rs 50,000 to scammers who impersonated a Bombay High Court Judge on WhatsApp. The fraudsters requested the transfer under false pretenses, leading the judge to realize the deception only when asked for more money. An investigation is underway to apprehend the perpetrators.
