The Delhi High Court has transferred 135 trial court judges across the capital, including those handling significant cases like the Northeast Delhi Riots and the Delhi Excise Policy case. This reshuffle includes prominent judges moving to new roles, alongside the appointment of 18 newly trained judges to various courts in Delhi.
Today(13th Sept), A Delhi court has issued a release order for Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after the Supreme Court granted him bail in the excise policy corruption case. The bail follows a successful filing of a Rs.10 lakh bail bond and two sureties, with the Supreme Court determining Kejriwal’s entitlement to bail amid the ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities.
The Supreme Court will deliver its verdict tomorrow(13th Sept), on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea and challenge to his arrest by the CBI in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. The court had reserved judgment on both matters last week.

Today(on 20th May),The Delhi High Court has rescinded the Rs. 75,000 fine imposed on a law student who filed a PIL seeking interim bail for Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, following the petitioner’s unconditional apology. The Division Bench earlier imposed the fine on April 22, deeming the petition’s submissions contrary to facts and legally unsustainable.
