Judge Arun Bhardwaj has been appointed as the new Registrar General of the Delhi High Court, effective May 1, 2025.
NEW DELHI: A senior lawyer expressed deep shock and sadness in the Delhi High Court on Friday over reports of a massive cash recovery from the home of Justice Yashwant Varma. The judge did not attend court proceedings that day. The issue was mentioned before a bench led by Chief Justice DK Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela. Senior advocate Arun Bhardwaj requested that steps be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
