Today, On 7th April, The Telangana government moved the High Court seeking action against AI-generated fake content related to the Kancha Gachibowli protest. The protest, led by students and activists, was against the government’s plan to develop forest land near Hyderabad. Fake videos and images were circulated online, falsely showing violence and environmental damage. The government wants strict action to prevent the spread of such misleading content.
