Bombay High Court Gets 14 New Judges, Strength Increases to 82 After Oath Ceremony

Fourteen new judges were sworn in as Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court on Tuesday by Acting Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar. With their induction, the court’s working strength has risen from 68 to 82 against a sanctioned strength of 94.

CJI Headed Collegium Recommends Appointment of 3 Additional Judges of Delhi HC as Permanent Judges

Today, On 10th July, the Supreme Court collegium recommended the appointment of three additional judges from the Delhi High Court as permanent judges, aiming to strengthen the judiciary. It also proposed seven additional judges from the Bombay High Court for permanent positions and extension of terms for two others. These efforts are crucial for efficient justice administration in India.
