An MP-MLA court in Sultanpur has granted AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal permission to travel abroad in a poll code violation case from 2014. His lawyer said the order came after the court reserved its decision on September 8.
The Delhi High Court will hear on August 25 AAP’s plea seeking government accommodation in the national capital for Arvind Kejriwal, its national convenor and former Chief Minister, after he vacated his official residence following resignation.
In the 2014 Model Code Violation case, a special MP/MLA court in Sultanpur allowed Arvind Kejriwal’s passport renewal but directed him to take prior permission from the court before travelling abroad.
