The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of nine additional judges as permanent judges in the High Courts of Andhra Pradesh, Calcutta, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka, stating they are “fit for being appointed permanently.”

New Delhi: The Supreme Court collegium put forth a recommendation for the appointment of nine additional judges as permanent judges in the High Courts of Andhra Pradesh, Calcutta, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka.
The following judges have been proposed for permanent positions:
Andhra Pradesh High Court
- Justice Harinath Nunepally
- Justice Kiranmayee Mandava @ Kiranmayee Kanaparthy
- Justice Sumathi Jagadam
- Justice Nyapathy Vijay
Chhattisgarh High Court
- Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal
Karnataka High Court
- Justice Gurusiddaiah Basavaraja
Calcutta High Court
- Justice Partha Sarathi Sen
- Justice Apurba Sinha Ray

Additionally, the collegium has recommended the reappointment of seven additional judges from the Calcutta High Court for a new one-year term:
