YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra Seeks Regular Bail in Espionage Case, Court Awaits Police Reply

Influencer Jyoti Malhotra, arrested for alleged spying, has filed a regular bail plea in Hisar court. Police directed to respond by June 11.

HISAR: Today, on June 10, Social media influencer Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested last month on suspicion of spying, has now filed a request for regular bail before a local court.

Her lawyer, Advocate Kumar Mukesh, informed that the bail application was submitted before the Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Sunil Kumar on Tuesday.

According to Advocate Mukesh,

“Malhotra moved a regular bail plea before Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Sunil Kumar through her lawyer Kumar Mukesh.”

This move comes after Malhotra was taken into custody last month by authorities in connection with allegations related to espionage activities.

The details of the case have not yet been made fully public, but the legal team of Malhotra has now initiated efforts to secure her release through the regular legal process.

As the court began considering her plea, it has now asked the police to file their official response to the bail application. The deadline for the police to submit this reply is June 11.

Advocate Mukesh also added that

“The court sought a reply from the police by June 11.”

Jyoti Malhotra, a well-known figure on social media platforms, was arrested amid serious charges, and her arrest had led to widespread discussions and speculation across social and digital media.
