According to the complaint, the family also received a severe death threat from the notorious Bishnoi gang.
The boy’s mother filed the complaint with the Mathura Superintendent of Police, alleging that these YouTubers uploaded videos that were “maliciously designed” to target her son, a follower of Sanatana Dharma, with the intent to mock and discredit his religious beliefs. Referring to the YouTubers as “anti-Hindu elements,” the complaint asserts that their content was “crafted to promote hate” against the practices and faith of Hinduism.
These videos, it claims, were specifically uploaded to “humiliate and harass” her son.
The family further recounted a recent chilling incident:
“We got a message in the name of the Bishnoi gang. He (the caller) threatened us for life.”
The complaint highlights the impact of this threat on the family’s sense of security and well-being.
Beyond physical threats, the complaint describes how the boy has endured
“immense stress and mental harassment”
-as a result of the ongoing online content aimed at him.
It states-
“The conduct of the accused persons has forced the complainant to the stage of absolute collapse and family suicide.”
Moreover, the complaint notes that the actions of these YouTubers have caused “immense emotional suffering” for the young speaker, stating that the family is especially disturbed “considering that he is only 10 years old.” It emphasizes that, due to the online harassment,
“He is unable to freely practice his religion or live his daily life without the fear of being harassed or insulted physically and online.”
The complaint also touches upon the mockery directed at the boy’s father, describing how it has
“severely impacted his family’s dignity and peace of mind.”
The ongoing harassment, it says, has led to “extreme embarrassment” for each family member, with the complaint further asserting,
“Each and every member of the family is being publicly mocked which has caused extreme embarrassment to them. The accused persons have defamed the complainant for wrongful gains.”
In conclusion, the family’s complaint to law enforcement outlines a harrowing ordeal of religious harassment, emotional distress, and threats to personal safety, all of which they attribute to the YouTubers’ actions.
