Magistrate KN Shivakumar issued the order today following the conclusion of Revanna’s eight-day police custody.
Advocate Nikhil Kamat has filed a bail plea for Revanna, with Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) Ashok Naik stating that he plans to file objections to the plea tomorrow.
On July 1, the 42nd Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate had placed him in the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which is investigating the cases against him, until today. Last week, the CID conducted a medical examination on Revanna and collected samples.
Revanna, who was arrested on June 23, also underwent a potency test. Additionally, DNA samples were collected from the two victims who alleged sexual abuse by the legislator.

Revanna is the elder brother of former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, who is facing four separate sexual abuse cases against him.
