Today, On 14th June, Raveena Tandon issued a defamation notice to a man over a purportedly fake road rage video involving her. The Bollywood actress claims the video, which has been circulating online, misrepresents the incident and damages her reputation. Tandon is seeking a retraction and an apology.
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon sent a defamation notice to an individual for refusing to remove a video he had posted on social media. In the viral video, the man claimed that Tandon’s car hit his mother, and that the actress assaulted his mother when she questioned the incident.
The man further alleged that the incident occurred near Tandon’s residence in Mumbai, with his mother, sister, and niece present. However, a police investigation in Mumbai found that Tandon’s car not involved in any collision with anyone.
Through her legal counsel, Sana Khan, Tandon now informed the individual about the “true and correct facts” that emerged from the police probe. The defamation notice aims to address the allegedly false claims made by the man in the viral video.

According to the defamation notice, the man requested the actor to send a formal letter asking for the video to be removed from his X account. This request emailed on June 5.
The notice stated,
“However, you (the man) refused to delete the post from your account and furthermore, threatened our client with legal action if the request letter was not withdrawn within 24 hours,”
In the notice, Tandon accused the man of defaming her on social media and news portals with the video, labelling it as “admittedly fake news” and derogatory. The video created to publicly defame her, causing her mental distress and agony, as mentioned in the notice.
Advocate Khan stated,
“We are currently pursuing all necessary legal steps to address this issue and ensure justice is served. Action will be taken him for perpetuating this defamatory campaign,”
The controversy began when a video surfaced online, allegedly depicting Raveena Tandon engaged in a road rage incident. The video quickly went viral, garnering widespread attention and sparking a flurry of negative comments and speculation. However, Tandon boldly denied any involvement in the incident, labelling the video as fake and misleading.
