In Meerut, nearly 100 lawyers tried to attack Muskaan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla, who are accused in the shocking “cement murder” case. They allegedly drugged and killed Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput, then hid his body using cement. The courtroom turned chaotic as security personnel struggled to stop the angry lawyers. This high-profile case has caused huge public outrage due to the brutal nature of the crime.

The woman and her boyfriend, accused of murdering her Merchant Navy officer husband, faced the fury of over 100 lawyers when they were brought to a court in Meerut on Wednesday.

As they exited the courtroom, lawyers attempted to assault the alleged perpetrators, who were protected by a police team, and the attempts continued even after they were inside a police vehicle.

One Angry lawyer even climbed onto a car in an effort to attack the woman and her partner.

Muskaan Rastogi and her boyfriend, Sahil Shukla, appeared before the additional chief judicial magistrate’s court after being arrested for the murder of Muskaan’s husband, Saurabh Rajput. They allegedly drugged Saurabh before fatally stabbing him, dismembering his body into 15 pieces, and placing it in a drum sealed with cement.

Officials reported that there were no issues during Muskaan and Sahil’s appearance in the courtroom. However, they soon received alerts about an angry crowd of lawyers gathering in the court complex.

Additional police personnel were dispatched, but they encountered a group of at least a hundred lawyers determined to attack Muskaan and Sahil.

Videos captured the scene as the two accused were escorted by police down the courthouse steps towards the waiting lawyers. Shouts of “taiyyar raho” (stay ready) and “maaro” (attack) echoed as the lawyers attempted to assault them.

While police pushed back the lawyers, a few managed to land punches, and one even climbed atop an SUV in an effort to strike the alleged killers from above.

The police personnel continued to push back the lawyers as they attempted to escort Muskaan and Sahil to a waiting police car. One lawyer managed to elbow one of the accused while they were being placed in the vehicle, and another was seen striking them through the front passenger window.

Eventually, the car was able to move away, leaving the chaotic crowd behind.

Earlier on Wednesday, Superintendent of Police (Meerut City) Ayush Vikram Singh stated that Saurabh’s murder was entirely orchestrated by Muskaan, who devised the plan in November of the previous year.

Mr. Singh revealed that Muskaan had convinced her boyfriend, who had a history of narcotic use, that his deceased mother was communicating with him via a Snapchat account she had created. This manipulation was part of her strategy to involve Sahil in the murder plot.
