Today, On 21st June, On the 11th International Yoga Day, CJI BR Gavai joined a special yoga session held at the Supreme Court’s Administrative Building in Delhi. He also addressed participants, encouraging the practice for health and well-being.
On the 11th International Yoga Day, yoga sessions took place at the Administrative Building Complex of the Supreme Court in Delhi on Saturday.
Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai attended and participated in the event, addressing fellow participants.
This year, the 11th International Yoga Day is being celebrated nationwide, with people stepping out to engage in various events across different regions of India.

Yoga promotes a healthy and joyful life, and June 21 serves as a reminder to adopt such a lifestyle.
Numerous ministers and leaders are actively involved in yoga celebrations to raise awareness and encourage public participation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of “inner peace” as a “global policy” and urged the international community to collectively embrace yoga. Speaking at the celebrations in Visakhapatnam, he called for adopting yoga not only as a personal or cultural practice but as a unifying force for humanity.

The Prime Minister stated,
“I would like to take this opportunity to urge the global community on this important occasion to let this International Yoga Day mark the beginning of Yoga for Humanity. Let this be the day when inner peace becomes a global policy, where yoga is embraced not just as a personal practice, but as a powerful tool for global partnership and unity. Let every country and every society make yoga a shared responsibility, a common contribution toward collective well-being,”
The event took place along the picturesque Visakhapatnam coastline, with Indian Navy ships positioned nearby, enhancing the celebration’s grandeur.

PM Modi was accompanied by thousands of yoga enthusiasts, local residents, and dignitaries from Andhra Pradesh.
Widespread participation marked this year’s International Day of Yoga, themed “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” reflecting India’s vision of global wellness and highlighting the interconnectedness of human and planetary health, inspired by the Indian principle of “Sarve Santu Niramaya” (May all be free from disease).
