Members of the Young Belgaum Foundation helped a senior citizen who had a stroke at the District Court Complex in Belagavi.

The incident happened when some young men, including lawyers, found an old man lying in the court’s parking lot. He looked weak and couldn’t speak, which worried everyone about his health. Observing the seriousness of the situation, the foundation members acted quickly to help him.

They immediately rushed the elderly man to the hospital for medical attention, ensuring that he received the necessary care in time. Lawyer Rohit Kadagavi, foundation member Allan Vijay More, social worker Avadhut Tudavekar, and several others played a significant role in helping the man.

The foundation’s efforts, coupled with the prompt response of the individuals involved, were crucial in saving the man’s life.

Allan Vijay More, a member of the Young Belgaum Foundation, shared that the elderly man is now receiving treatment and is no longer in danger.

Mr. More confirmed,

“The patient is receiving treatment and is out of danger,”

His statement provided reassurance to the public that the elderly man’s health was stabilizing.

This incident highlights the importance of quick action and community support in emergencies. It also highlights the role of legal professionals and social workers in addressing not only legal concerns but also social welfare issues.

The timely intervention of the Young Belgaum Foundation members exemplifies the positive impact that such organizations can have on the community, particularly in situations where immediate medical care is required.

The Indian Medical Council Act encourages healthcare professionals to provide emergency treatment to anyone in need, irrespective of their ability to pay.

The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) also plays a role in ensuring that underprivileged individuals have access to legal help and can seek redress in cases of neglect or discrimination. Legal frameworks are designed to ensure that citizens, especially those in need of urgent assistance, are protected by law and given timely support.

Through their efforts, the members of the Young Belgaum Foundation not only helped a senior citizen in distress but also demonstrated the spirit of community service that can make a real difference in times of crisis. Their actions serve as an inspiring reminder of the power of collective goodwill and the importance of being vigilant and compassionate in any situation.
