New Delhi: The Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association (SCAORA) introduced a new Help Desk aimed at supporting its members with both procedural and substantive matters related to practice in the Supreme Court.

This initiative is designed to provide guidance on various issues, including filing deadlines, case preparation, and understanding court protocols.

In a letter to the Secretary General of the Supreme Court, Mr. Nikhil Jain, the Honorary Secretary of SCAORA, noted that this initiative was inspired by valuable feedback from the judiciary and is intended to serve as a vital resource for all Advocates-on-Record (AORs).

Mr. Jain stated,

“The Help Desk is particularly aimed at those who are new to the bar and need guidance navigating the intricate landscape of Supreme Court proceedings. It will help them avoid common pitfalls and foster a deeper understanding of the judicial process.”

Located at the SCAORA office, the Help Desk will be available on a bi-monthly basis, specifically on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. AORs can also reach out for assistance via telephone or email.

SCAORA is encouraging all its members to take advantage of this new facility, emphasizing the importance of utilizing the collective wisdom and experience of the legal community to enhance their practice in India’s apex court.
