The Delhi Transport Corporation will soon introduce a special bus service connecting major courts across the city, allowing lawyers, law clerks, and litigants to travel conveniently between court complexes at nominal fares.
The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) finalized an agreement with the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) to provide bus services linking various courts across Delhi.
N Hariharan, the Senior Advocate and President of the DHCBA, announced that the DTC-operated bus services connecting the courts will soon be operational. This announcement followed a meeting with the Special Commissioner and Managing Director of DTC.
Under this arrangement, DTC will operate three buses between the Delhi High Court and Tis Hazari court, as well as additional services from the High Court to Saket court.
These buses will also link all relevant tribunals and commissions along the route, including the Delhi State Commission, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Patiala House court, National Green Tribunal, and the Supreme Court of India.
Moreover, the service will connect major metro stations and the Dwarka and Karkardooma courts, complete with dedicated announcements.
Litigants, law clerks, and advocates can utilize this bus service by paying the fares set by DTC.
The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is the main public bus service operator in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
