NEW DELHI: Recently, Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud warmly welcomed Brazilian Justice Antonio Herman Benjamin during his visit to India.
Justice Antonio Herman Benjamin, who is set to become Chief Justice of the Brazilian Supreme Court in July, visited India and observed judicial proceedings with Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud and two other Supreme Court judges.
CJI Chandrachud praised Justice Benjamin as a “great friend of India” and highlighted his distinguished scholarship and significant contributions to environmental protection.
