BIHAR: Good news for all candidates who appeared in the Bihar Civil Court Clerk Preliminary Exam 2025! The Bihar District Court has announced the result of the Clerk Prelims Exam today.
If you had given this exam, you can now check your result by visiting the official website of Bihar Civil Court: patna.dcourts.gov.in.
The preliminary examination was held on 22nd December 2024. A total of 42,397 candidates have successfully passed this stage of the exam.
Total Number of Qualified Candidates (Category-Wise)
- Unreserved (General): 17,043 candidates
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 4,176 candidates
- BC (Backward Class): 4,968 candidates
- EBC (Extremely Backward Class): 8,269 candidates
- SC (Scheduled Caste): 6,495 candidates
- ST (Scheduled Tribe): 391 candidates
- WBC (Women of Backward Class): 1,055 candidates
However, the result notice also mentioned that the candidature of five candidates has been cancelled because they were allegedly involved in cheating or misconduct during the exam. Their roll numbers are: 531283, 531289, 668954, 668949, and 668955.

If you want to check your result, just follow these easy steps:
- Go to the official website: patna.dcourts.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the “Recruitment” link.
- Then, click on the link that says “Bihar District Court Clerk Prelims Result 2025”.
- A PDF file will open, showing the roll numbers of all qualified candidates.
- You can download this file and also take a printout for future use.
As per the official notice, the next stage of the recruitment process—the written examination—will take place in Patna. Only the candidates who have cleared the prelims will be allowed to appear in this written test.
