Atul Subhash Points To LawChakra Video in His Heart-Wrenching Suicide Note

Bengaluru: Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old tech professional from Bengaluru, tragically died by suicide, leaving behind a 24-page note and a 90-minute video in which he accused his wife, Nikita Singhania, and her family of harassment.

In the video, Subhash stated that this harassment drove him to take such a drastic action. Following his death, his father, Pawan Kumar, disclosed that a new case had been filed against him in his grandson’s name, seeking maintenance.

On Sunday, city police arrested Nikita Singhania in Gurugram, Haryana, while her mother, Nisha Singhania, and brother, Anurag Singhania, apprehended in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Expressing his gratitude to the police for the arrests, Pawan Kumar said,

“I thank the police for arresting the accused, but I still haven’t received justice. We don’t know where she has kept our grandson. Is he alive or has something happened to him? I want my grandson to be with us.”

He further mentioned,

“A new case has been filed against me in the name of my grandson for maintenance,”

He also appealed to several political leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, for intervention.

He emphasized,

“For a grandfather, his grandson means more than his son. The entire society and people are standing in my support.”

Additionally, sources informed that Nikita had checked into a shared room in a paying guest (PG) accommodation in Gurugram on December 8, the day before her husband’s suicide. She reportedly left the PG that same evening after leaving her belongings behind, having paid rent starting from December 9.

However, she did not stay at the PG after that date until her arrest, and her KYC (Know Your Customer) verification remained incomplete. The PG management attempted to contact her several times but received no response.

The police are continuing their investigation, while Subhash’s family is demanding justice and custody of their grandson.
