Telangana DGP commented about the Pushpa 2 stampede case involving Allu Arjun, saying that “the law will take its own course.” During a year-end press meet on December 29, he did not share more details, as the case is sub judice. The incident received a lot of attention, but officials are not revealing much. Investigations are still happening, and the legal process will decide the result.

Telangana DGP Jitender stated that “the law will take its own course regarding the case involving the death of a woman during a stampede at the premiere of the blockbuster film Pushpa-2.“
Telegu superstar Allu Arjun has been named as an accused in this incident. During a year-end press conference on December 29, Jitender responded to questions about the case, emphasizing its ongoing nature,
“The case is already under investigation. The court is also looking into this. It is sub judice. Moreover, law will take its own course. This is what I have to say. Nothing more.”
The tragic event occurred on December 4 at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, where a 35-year-old woman lost her life and her eight-year-old son was injured as fans surged to catch a glimpse of the actor during the premiere. In the aftermath, the city police filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Chikkadpally police station, based on a complaint from the deceased woman’s family.
Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with the incident and subsequently granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court.
The Telugu superstar made a virtual court appearance on December 27 regarding the recent death of a fan. Arjun was arrested after a screening of Pushpa 2 led to a stampede in Hyderabad.
He has also submitted a regular bail petition, which is set to be heard on December 30.

Following the arrest on December 13 linked to the death of Revathi, the Telangana High Court granted him four-week interim bail on the same day, allowing him to be released from prison on the morning of December 14.
The incident sparked political controversy, with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy attributing blame to the megastar for the tragedy. In a statement to the state Assembly, Reddy noted that police had denied permission for any event at Sandhya Theatre due to safety concerns.
In response to the allegations, Allu Arjun labeled them as an attempt at “character assassination.”
