Justice Manoj Misra was born on June 2, 1965. He earned his law degree from the University of Allahabad in 1988 and enrolled as an advocate on December 12 of the same year. As a lawyer, Justice Misra primarily practiced at the Allahabad High Court, focusing on civil, criminal, revenue, and constitutional law.
After 23 years of legal practice, he was elevated to the Bench as an Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court on November 21, 2011. He was made a Permanent Judge of the High Court on August 6, 2013. On February 6, 2023, Justice Misra was appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
