Vikhayat and Hardik, both 24 from Delhi-NCR and non-verbal but adept at reading social cues, will work as sales associates. They will communicate with customers using Avaz, a picture-based communication app for special needs individuals.

Sabhya (22), quick to adapt to new tasks, will be the cashier. Reha (22), skilled in baking and presentations, will also serve as a salesperson. Sumer (25), a trained baker, will prepare chutneys and dahi bhalla. Varun (23), an artist with a keen eye for detail, and Rijul (24), excited about serving South Indian food, will work at the Bain Marie counter. Princey (45), an experienced salesman, will manage the sales counter.

Located a few hundred meters from a Starbucks outlet within the premises, the cafe is a collaboration with Sagar Ratna. This project follows two years of training and aims to place neurodiverse individuals in managerial positions. Gupta, inspired by his autistic son Shaurya, has been aiding neurodivergent adults since 2011 through SFT.

Rubina Mohan, director of STF, mentioned that all South Indian fare from Sagar Ratna will be available at the cafe. The initiative allows neurodiverse individuals to showcase their skills at the ordering counter, drink serving, and hosting with a focus on customer feedback.
